From the outset, there are many flaws in this program. It mostly abuses foreigners who marry Americans to get a K-1 visa. What makes it much more difficult is that the pair must marry within 90 days. If this does not occur, their tourist visa will expire. This means they must either return home or face deportation. It’s only natural for a program with this concept to be tense, but the producers prefer to throw gasoline to the fire to add more drama to the situation.
