Thomas W Markle, the father of Meghan Markle, was also in the entertainment industry before but his work was mostly behind the camera. He was a lighting director on shows such as Married with Children and General Hospital. It has been reported that Mr. Markle’s health hasn’t been so good but it was confirmed that he would be walking his daughter down the aisle. Unfortunately, he was unable to do so at the Royal wedding because his doctors hadn’t allowed him to travel for the wedding.
