The wig was given to her by her boyfriend, and was told to wear it more often. Their split was the turning point of her life. After their breakup, she had plastic surgery to look like the actress in an attempt to get her boyfriend back. It was then revealed that her boyfriend was a huge fan of the actress. He reportedly had posters of the actress on his walls and kept many photos on his phone.
