Yamaha RD350LC
The Yamaha RD350LC, which replaced the RD350, was introduced in 1980. The RD350LC was designed to break into the European market because of the tightening belt of US emissions with its lesser capacity machine, the RD250LC. It was equipped with a parallel twin two-stroke engine with the same stroke as its older brother, the RD250LC. To comply with emission requirements, new features such as liquid cooling and a new exhaust were incorporated. In the first nine months of manufacturing, Yamaha sold over 10,000 units in Europe.
