What began as a writing gig for a small paper in Greenwich Village in the late 60s, led to her groupie fame! Let’s backtrack. So, as Cleo reported on musical acts, she ended up meeting Keith Emerson from the band Emerson, Lake & Palmer in a club. Thus, began their romance, which even led to engagement. According to Odzer, after Keith Emerson spotted an article with her that called her a “Super Groupie,” he ended the engagement. The label groupie did not affect Odzer so negatively though. She recorded her own album titled The Groupies with friends, detailing all of their adventures with rockers. After her time as a super groupie, she went to India, which is where she died in 2001.
