Aron Lee Ralston’s autobiography Between a Rock and a Hard Place pens the brutal tale of how an outdoorsman was pushed to unspeakable circumstances in order to survive. In case you watched 127 Hours starring James Franco, then you know the story. Ralston was forced to amputate his own arm with a dull pocketknife after he became trapped in a dislodged boulder. He was stuck at Blue John Canyon for five days and seven hours. i.e. 127 hours.
