Yes, the lead guitarist for Cheap Trick let Wolfe and Fritz look around his warehouse full of rock goodies. Once the two spotted the white and black checkerboard guitar, they immediately made offers. However, Nielsen turned them down even for over $2,500! Instead, he gave it to them as a donation to the store if they agreed he could come pay it whenever he visited.
