Apparently, networks are learning that legal dramas are so yesterday. This ABC show lasted one season. They hoped to differentiate themselves by basing the plot on real life events. Unfortunately, that did not seem to work. By episode 10, the viewership had decreased by half the number they started with for the premiere.

To be fair, this was only the third show for WGN. However, after the cancellation, Sony announced they would look for another network. The show lasted two seasons, and it took place in a fictional Kentucky town. Strangely enough, WGN had called this the most watched show on their network at a press conference just one week before canceling it. Thus, some speculated the network’s parent company, Tribute may have made the final decision.
