Darrin and Darrin
As we’ve mentioned, there were two characters who played Darrin, Samantha’s husband. Dick York was replaced by another actor with the same first name, Dick Sargent. However, they never acknowledged the swap on the show. Producers hoped the fans wouldn’t notice and would just accept Dick Sargent as Darrin. However, this jarring switch came to be known as, “The Darrin Syndrome.” Unfortunately, the switch was very noticeable and the audience was not exactly forgiving.

There Are Words For The Theme Song
Even though you can instantly hear the Bewitched, no words easily come to mind. Yeah, that’s because it didn’t have any…or did it? Even though no words were sung during the opening theme song, they do exist. Jack Keller and Howard Greenfield actually composed the Bewitched theme song with lyrics. However, the Bewitched producers opted for the instrumental instead of the accompanying lyrics of, “Bewitched, bewitched, you’ve got me in your spell.”
