The Douglas family were heavily featured in the 2003 film It Runs in the Family – three generations, in fact. Everyone agrees that this movie is a gentle reminder of how you ought to have parents with inheritable traits you can be proud of – not that you get a say on who you have as parents, though. Kirk Douglas served as a precedent for son Michael Douglas with an impressively successful acting career which spanned almost seventy years. Somehow the father has passed the success on to his son. Michael Douglas appears to have inherited all that his father had, from the dashing good looks that he has to being apparently immune to hair loss associated with age. Fifty years after Michael’s debut, his son Cameron has also received the torch from him. However, Cameron doesn’t look so capable of keeping straight and narrow. No pressure, though. Just be yourself, Cameron.
