Barack and Michelle Obama definitely win everyone’s vote as the couple they would most like to follow because come on, the pair is basically the epitome of #relationshipgoals. In 1989(!), Barack first met Michelle while he was employed as a law firm summer associate in Chicago.

During social functions, Barack would be accompanied by Michelle but she initially declined all his requests to go out on a date. However, she had a change of heart and later that summer, the couple officially started dating. Two years later, they got engaged. In October 1992, the pair said “I do” and well, you all know the rest of the story!

Since Rene was Celine’s manager and Celine was just 12 years old at the time they met, the two didn’t start a relationship until the year 1987 (needless to say, when she was older). Later in 1991, the couple were engaged and in 1994, got married.
