Fishing is a great past time for people of all ages. After all, we can’t imagine a better way to spend an afternoon than by hopping onto a fishing boat, heading out to the open waters, and throwing out a line. A cold beer and great company would make it even better. However, the people in these photos got more than what they bargained for when they went out to fish.
Not everyone will not be able to appreciate what the hobby has to offer since it requires a lot of patience and resilience. It is easy to see why some people think it is a boring hobby, but it can also be a relaxing and therapeutic activity. But don’t make the mistake of thinking that it is easy! Nope, that’s absolutely wrong as it can also be incredibly frustrating. After all, can you imagine sitting by the water holding a rod in your hand for hours without getting so much as a tug? However, it might not matter that much if you are accompanied by great friends and decent booze. With good company, you might not even be able to notice how quickly an entire day passes by! That’s how it is when you’re having fun, right? However, you will be able to enjoy a fishing trip even when you are all by yourself. In my personal experience, such trips are actually my favorite.
Oh, and we can’t talk about fishing without discussing bait. Most people will probably think about worms, but there is a plethora of options to choose from. We’re not talking about pastries and desserts, though that would surely make for a unique experience. Some fishermen have tried using things like dog food, raisins, and canned meat. We heard that even bubblegum works in a pinch! Would you ever try using these innovative baits?
