Before becoming engaged to Prince William, Kate Middleton had a full-time career. She did a number of things for work. Did you know she was a website designer, photographer, and marketing officer for her parents’ planning company? When she was asked to become royalty, she was asked to not work anymore and only focus on royal affairs as her full-time job. She agreed of course!

Here is yet another strict rule: no house of your own! “Normal” homes or private places of residence are banned. Any property owned by a member of the family must be approved by the Queen as per a royal protocol(this rarely, rarely happens). Basically, private homes are out of the question.
