Introducing Last Names
Until the 20th century, royal kids did not have last names. Naturally, they were called by the dynasty or house to which they belonged. Royal children were homeschooled until Princess Di sent both William and Harry to private school. That’s why prior to that, there was never a need for them. Now, they go by a single surname and not their royal title, so Prince George is George Cambridge.
