If you’re a Modern Family fan, then you know Reid Ewing as Dylan, Haley’s on and off boyfriend. Ewing opened up about his body dysmorphic disorder and resulting cosmetic surgeries in 2015. In November 2015, he publicly came out as gay while speaking about his body dysmorphia. When responding to a Twitter question about his sexuality and being in the closet, he wrote, “I was never in.”

Sonny and Cher’s only child, Chaz Bono is probably the most famous transgender advocate in America. First in 1995, the tabloids outed Bono as a lesbian, so Bono wrote for years about gay rights. From 2008 to 2019, he transitioned and became a bigger celebrity. Chaz spoke about his transition with Entertainment Tonight in 2009 and also has a documentary called Becoming Chaz.
