Citizen Kane
Citizen Kane is the father of all films. It defined the entire film industry. Yes, Orson Welles not only directed and wrote the movie, but he starred in the movie, too. Thus, it’s understandable that with so much on his plate he butchered his opening line in the film. Instead of saying, “No, my sled…” Orson Welles said, “Rosebud.” Of course, the genius that Welles was, he recognized the tension and overall intrigue this line brought. The rest was history.
