While filming, Carrey was out of character asking the crew, “Wait! Let me do that one more time! Give me the light again. Quickly, while it’s fresh in my mind!” Even this bizarre off-script request for another take fit Olaf, the crazy narcissist in A Series of Unfortunate Events. If it works, it works!
