The Killing

Originally an English TV series, The Killing is a crime drama series set in Seattle, Washington. It follows different murder investigations by two detectives, Stephen Holder and Sarah Linden. The show actually went on a rocky roller-coaster ride since its inception. It was canceled not just once, but twice. The first time happened in 2012 and it was decided by the AMC production company. However, Netflix revived the show by producing more episodes, though they decided to end the television series and bring it to its natural end by the fourth season. The last episode aired on August 1, 2014 with the producers feeling satisfied that they had left fans with a proper conclusion. The show’s Executive, Veena Sud said: “After coming back from the dead twice, it absolutely feels like a victory lap, not only were we able to come back twice, but this final season is how I wanted to end the story of Sarah Linden from the very beginning.”
