She managed to achieve this because she started her acting career when she was only 19 years old in the teen movie Gidget. She later worked in projects on television like The Flying Nun, The Girl with Something Extra, and Sybil. Apart from the work she did on TV, she also did projects in film such as Steel Magnolias, Mrs. Doubtfire, Murphy’s Romance, Forrest Gump, and Kiss Me Goodbye. She even won a couple of Academy Awards, one for her work in Norma Rae and the other for her performance in Places in the Heart. These accolades cemented her status in the industry as an amazing actress. Even at 71 years old, Sally Field does not allow anything to stop her from acting.
