In July, Mendes tried to throw a curveball to the press by stating she didn’t like dating actors. She told Nylon how, “I realize that I don’t think I like actors. Actors are really emotionally complicated. You would think they would be more in tune with their emotions, but sometimes they’re just not. I just really need to get out of this industry with someone who is in a stable environment.” Well she certainly changed her tune by the fall of 2018, and posted a photo of the super-cute couple embracing on Instagram.
