After planning things out, the next step would be to approach his parents and ask for permission. It was a good thing that Angie and Greg Thill were able to see how serious their son was about the project. This earned him the go signal to build his own place on their four-acre land.

According to Greg, they laid down some ground rules before his son started working on the project. First of all, Luke had to fund the project by himself. Next, he had to build it on his own. Lastly, he was the owner of the resulting structure. That sounds like a tough set of rules, so it’s a good thing that Luke was a determined person.
