She was praised by many for her natural beauty ever since she was a young girl. She later made her way to the big screen and became a promising newcomer to the industry after starring in both dramatic and comedic acting roles. She married her The Fearless Vampire Killers costar and director Roman Polanski in 1968. She had been eight months pregnant with his child at the time of her murder.
