Following the death of his sister, Richard Carpenter put his time and energy in putting together different compilations of the band’s music. It was in 1987 that he released “Time”, a solo album that featured the likes of Dusty Springfield and Dionne Warwick.

While recording “Remember When Lovin’ Took All Night”, she recorded herself breathing heavily for the background vocals. She got so involved that she ended up hyperventilating and passing out!
