Sure, this one is more of a typical rock and roll story. The band was on a European tour in 1968 when they stopped in Amsterdam for a show. At this Amsterdam show, The Doors had to go on stage without Jim Morrison, who was completely obliterated from the local substances. However, it’s said that the crowd at the time did not even register the absence of their frontman. Go figure.
